The medical team, Tadawi General Hospital, Department of General Surgery, Consultant Dr. Ali Subhi Al-Saed, and Specialist Dr. Ashraf Mansour, succeeded in performing an emergency surgery to save the life of a patient in the sixth decade of his life, who suffers from a major emergency explosion in the chronic large duodenal ulcer, where the ulcer was removed with resection of the last half of the stomach (the center of high acid secretion of the stomach), and the stomach was connected to the upper small intestine and closed Duodenal opening, in addition to removing the gallbladder due to the presence of gallstones.
